Guldveterinären is run by Eva Molin, licensed veterinarian.
I have worked in animal healthcare since 2000, first as a veterinary nurse and then as a veterinarian.
As a veterinary nurse, I worked at Djurkliniken Roslagstull and Regiondjursjukhuset Bagarmossen.
While studying to become a vet, I covered evening and night shifts at the University Animal Hospital in Uppsala.
The summer before graduating, I worked as an acting veterinarian at Distriktsveterinärerna in Bollnäs.
After qualifying as a vet in 2010, I started Guldveterinären and worked part-time as a clinic vet at Solsidans Djurklinik in Saltsjöbaden for 2.5 years.
After that, I worked as a dental surgeon at AniCura Djursjukhuset Albano and Gärdets Djurklinik for 8 years.
If you have followed the TV series “Veterinärerna” (The Vets) on TV4 and Sjuan, you might recognise me from there. I took part in five seasons in total – though of course not in every episode!
I was one of the vets who received the adventure dog Arthur when he came to Sweden. In 2017 his adventure was featured by the American sports channel ESPN, where I took part in the mini-documentary “A dog’s remarkable journey to find a home”.
As a vet, I have also volunteered in the Philippines, spaying and neutering female and male dogs at Animal Kingdom Foundation.
Since 2021, I have worked as a dental surgeon on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Evidensia Vasastans Veterinärklinik. On other weekdays (excluding public holidays), I make home visits by appointment.
Guldveterinären is one of the few privately owned home vets in Stockholm that is not backed by venture capital. Many clients appreciate this, and it is something I am very proud of.
When I am not working, I do yoga, ride horses and try to spend as much time as possible with my family. I value time with friends and love a trip to the family’s country house.

Snorpan in memoriam
In April 2014, this wonderful, bouncy 2.5-year-old, 2.5 kg Russkiy Toy Terrier girl came into our lives! A beloved child has many names: Snorpan, Smulan and Sessan (a tribute to her predecessor Prinsen).
You caught everyone’s eye with your golden-red sable coat and sweet, cheeky expression.
Snorpan Gyllentass was up for anything. She travelled the length and breadth of the country with us and loved flying to the sun in Portugal, Tenerife and Madeira. A favourite was road-tripping around Sweden and Europe.
Sadly, you suffered a slipped disc followed by a uterine infection, so your life was far too short, and you had to pass on on Friday 20 March 2020.
We miss you so much, our sweet little darling!![]()
Prinsen in memoriam
On Saturday 12 March 2011, my beloved little Papillon boy Prinsen suddenly left this earthly life to sniff and paw his way into new adventures.
He jumped into his dad’s arms, suddenly fell peacefully asleep and left us with enormous grief and longing. Prinsen was 11 years old.
Many people across Stockholm were charmed by Prinsen’s dainty appearance and beautiful eyes. Wherever he went, Prinsen naturally took centre stage where everyone could admire him – whether on the underground, the bus or at a party.
Despite his tiny 1.8 kg frame, he radiated a great, calm charisma. Even the biggest dogs and cats showed him a very natural respect.
Now he is no longer in our arms, but he is in our hearts forever.![]()
Nusse in memoriam
On the sunny, warm and beautiful Swedish National Day, 6 June 2006, my beloved 16-year-old kitty Nusse was put to sleep.
Out in nature, on his beloved “vole hill” at the family’s country house in Julita, Södermanland. The sun was shining and the birds were singing. Nusse fell asleep safely in my arms, surrounded by all the beauty the earth showers upon us.
From birth, Nusse was a gentleman – exceptionally wise and divinely kind (except to voles).
You would have to look hard for a more beautiful soul, and it shone in his wonderful eyes. Many years have passed, but Nusse is with me in my thoughts every day… an unforgettable love.![]()
