Only one basic fee is charged per visit, regardless of how many animals are treated. The cost of a visit is based on two to three types of charges:
- Basic fee – SEK 800 per visit, including 30 minutes’ travel time (15 minutes each way from Vasastan according to the GPS map’s estimate) and any congestion charges and parking fees.
- Mileage charge for longer journeys – SEK 150 per started 15 minutes beyond the travel time included in the basic fee (covers the vet’s travel time and vehicle costs).
- Treatment – services according to the price list below.
All prices include 25% VAT and apply to treatment at home, with the visit finished by 15:00 at the latest on weekdays (excluding public holidays).
Out-of-hours
In the very rare exceptional cases where I make out-of-hours visits, an out-of-hours factor applies to all parts of the visit cost (except the cremation options for euthanasia).
Out-of-hours visits on weekdays 15:00–18:00: factor x 1.5.
Out-of-hours visits on weekdays 18:00–09:00 and at weekends: factor x 2.
Payment
Payment is made at the visit against an invoice receipt sent by email:
– in cash
– via Swish 123 701 97 55 (an active BankID and an adjusted payment limit are required)
– to PG (Plusgiro) 1565910-5

Price example – Cat vaccination and dog health check:

Price example – Litter health check, puppies:
Basic fee + 4 mileage charges (i.e. 1.5 hours’ total travel, there and back) + health check package for 4 puppies

Price example – Litter health check, kittens:
Basic fee + 2 mileage charges x 2 visits (i.e. 2 hours’ total travel, there and back) + health check package for 5 kittens over two visits (visit 1 = 1st Tricat vacc & microchipping, visit 2 = 2nd Tricat vacc & health check & health certificate)
800 + (4 x 150) + (5 x 1,400) = SEK 8,400
Price example – Lion cut:
Basic fee + 1 mileage charge (i.e. 45 minutes’ total travel, there and back) + clinical examination + lion cut for a cat incl. sedation and recovery
800 + (1 x 150) + 500 + 1,800 = SEK 3,250
Emergencies are referred to emergency clinics, e.g. AWAKE Djursjukhus, AniCura emergency clinics or Evidensia emergency clinics.
